Just Like a Fairy Tale

My Easter Dress:  I decided to try out a more “Roma (Romantic)” Gyaru style today and I really liked it!  Mum picked out the “Baby” cardigan to go over it the dress until the weather got nicer.  I got to wear my favorite light gray circle lenses too!  The day was so beautiful and I hope everyone had a Happy Easter!

Lavender Lemonade

4 tbsps (1/4 cup) culinary lavender*
2 cups boiling water
2/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice (about 8 lemons)
2 cups cold water
* Culinary lavender is lavender harvested for the purposes of cooking/eating. Please don’t buy the perfumed air-freshening kind because that is going to be utterly gross. Steep the lavender in 2 cups of boiling water for 15 minutes. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve and discard the lavender. Place the lavender tea and the sugar in a small saucepan and set over high heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves (you don’t have to put it over heat, but I do this because I’m impatient and want the sugar to dissolve faster and completely). Remove from heat and let cool to warm. Stir in the lemon juice. Stir in the cold water. Add more to taste. I prefer to keep mine on the concentrated side because I like to mix it with seltzer water when I serve it. Serve over ice. Makes about 6-8 cups depending on how dilute you want it.

My friend actually made lavender lemonade before and it’s delicious. Not sure if this is the same recipe, but stillllll

That is a very patient bunny.

Ok! I am going public with something that I have worked on for almost a year now, that I have been keeping really private. The reason I have kept it private is because of couple of reasons, but the biggest because I didn’t want people to make a big deal about it. BUT! The reason I am going public now is because I need some help now.
So, for the past year, I had started a group called Bunny’s Heroes. This group is a group of actors and cosplayers, that I personally asked, that have been helping the community by doing cosplays of recognizable characters for good causes.

Some of the places that you may have seen my heroes have been atStorybook Island, and Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School Rapid City. Well, we have offered to help a group that has always been the main mission for our group, Make-A-Wish Foundation here in Rapid City,SD.
So, what do I need help with? Well, I would personally like to get more cosplayers and actors to help out, especially to get more recognizable characters. This is the plan for Bunny’s Heroes, I would like to have a good chunk of recognizable characters,(i.e. Disney Princesses, Comic Book Characters, and Cartoon Characters) along the path of the trail for the Walk For Wishes, which is May 17th.The recognizable characters would need to be in character, willing to sign autographs as the character and encourage the walkers along the trail. Then I would like to get a big enough team of costumed characters, recognizable or not, to do the walk and raise money for them. Also, this is entirely informal volunteering, so you won’t be getting anything in compensation except for the warm and fuzzies.
This is project that I hold dear and close, and I would love the help. If you are interested, please comment here or PM to show what characters you might be able to do and act as. If you pass, , I will add you to the private group that has all of the details. Thank you everyone and keep your eyes out for links to help support our walking team once we get it formed and registered.

I work as Tinkerbell for Bunny’s Heroes and I will signal boost the HADES out of this because Make-A-Wish Foundation is extremely important and a great cause to work with and for!
